Stanley A. Orr, 85, of Lumberton, died Saturday, April 4, 2015.  He was born on July 30, 1929, in DeBerry, Texas, to Alice Hamlin Orr and Henry Orr.  Mr. Orr served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and later retired from SantaFe Railroad.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona Orr; children, Dwain S. Orr and his wife, Joan, of Nederland; Wes Orr and his wife, Tina, of Vidor; Chad Orr of Weatherford; and Alice Spencer and her husband, Ronnie, of Winnie; grandchildren, Ryan Orr, Rebekah Orr Hernandez, John Orr, Tait Orr, Gage Orr, Jackie Coleman, Devin Spencer, Natalie Spencer, Darla Spencer, Aaron Sterling, Raegan Sterling, and Tessa Sterling; and great-grandchildren, Julian Hernandez, Jonah Hernandez, Jordan Hernandez, Jasmine Hernandez, Connor Orr, Khloe Orr, McKinleigh Orr, Ellie Orr, Ayden Sterling, Tatum Sterling, and Shae Johnson; and sisters, Mildred McCrary of Carthage and Dorothy Culbertson of Greenwood, Louisiana.  He is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Werta Orr; and sister, Marie Crawford.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Hardin Memorial Park, Silsbee.
