Everett Bryant Phelps, 76, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015. He was born on February 26, 1939, to Florence Oliver Phelps and Brooxy Bryant Phelps, in Hamshire. Everett was a construction consultant at Brystar Contracting for several years.

Survivors include his partner, Ashley Lynn Nunez of Beaumont; sons, Bryan Phelps and his wife, Beth, and Daryl Phelps and his wife, Jessica, both of China; and Josh Knight and his wife, April, of Lincoln, Nebraska; sister, Shirley Jones of Rockwall; brother, Charles Phelps and his wife, Bertie, of Cheek; and grandchildren, Grace Phelps, Charis Phelps, Rolan Phelps, Tanner Andersen, Destiny Knight, and Devin Knight.

A gathering of Mr. Phelps’ family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Broussard’s. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
