Bernadine Flores, 63, of Beaumont, was surrounded by family when she went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, March 23, 2015. She will join her mother, Susan Puente and father, Frank Ochoa, who preceded her in death. 

Bernadine leaves behind her husband of forty-three years, Robert Flores, Sr.; her children, Christina Washington MA, Suzette Martinez, Roberto L. Flores, Jr. MD., Theresa Acosta, Olivia Mosqueda, and Frank Flores; and twelve grandchildren will miss her stories, her winning streak in rummy, and her tortillas. Her sister, Rebecca Rueda, will miss making her laugh and their daily chats. 

A gathering of Mrs. Flores’ family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
