Joseph C. “J.C.” Guidry, 89, of Nederland, died Friday, March 20, 2015. He was born on June 20, 1925, in Cecilia, Louisiana, to Leonora Landry Guidry and Dosite Guidry, and had been a longtime resident of the area.

J.C. retired as a Control Man from Texaco after thirty-nine years.

Survivors include his daughters, Darlene Foxworth of Nederland; Denise Bainbridge and her husband, William, of Warren; and Dena Martinez and her husband, Alfredo, of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tammy Smith and her husband, Jared; Troy Foxworth and his wife, Crystal; Angel McCord and her husband, Walter; Joseph Dennis Guidry; William Bainbridge and his wife, Amy; Ashlee Bainbridge; Courtney Bainbridge; Kayla Ely and her husband, Shiloh; and Izabel Martinez; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dennis Lindsey Guidry; two brothers; and three sisters.

A private family committal for Mr. Guidry was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
