Marti Boudreaux, 47, of Nederland, died Thursday, March 19, 2015. A native and lifelong resident of the area, she was born on July 2, 1967, in Beaumont, to Patsy Jane LaCour Boudreaux and Lloyd Joseph Boudreaux.

Marti took great joy in cooking and sharing with family and friends. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her little dog, Peanut.

She is survived by her daughter, Megan Gomez; son, DJ Higgins; and mother, Pat Boudreaux, all of Nederland; sisters, Teresa Taylor of Nederland; Pam Denton of St. Louis, Missouri; and Carrie Boudreaux; Tracey Owsley and her husband, Paul; and Cheryl Simon and her husband, Brian, all of Nederland; grandchildren, Temperance Gomez and Elizabeth Higgins; and longtime companion, Lionel Coleman of Port Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service for Ms. Boudreaux will be at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2015, at Life Church, 4600 Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, Port Arthur. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
