Mary will always be remembered as a kind, understanding and patient friend, mother, and wife. Those who knew her well may remember her saying “Stop lollygagging around!” She made an example of this by giving of herself generously to benefit her children. Mary volunteered countless hours at Stephanie’s Dance Studio and at Chad’s little league games as scorekeeper.  She was also a founding member of the Lumberton High School Raiderette Booster Club where she helped raise funds for trips and excursions.

Mary worked at Sam’s Wholesale Club in Beaumont for several years as the Demo Coordinator. She later continued her Sam’s career in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She is survived by her husband, Dwight Rash of Lumberton; daughter, Stephanie Rawlinson and her husband, Todd, of Fannett; brother, Dale Bond and his wife, Peggy, of Tomball; mother-in-law, Joyce Rash, of Lumberton; and many loving family members.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Dessie Bond; father, Russell Bond; and son, Chad Rash.

A Rosary will be recited for Mrs. Rash at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2015, at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 243 South L.H.S. Drive, Lumberton, with her interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Vidor.

Everyone knows how much Mary loved her pets and grand dogs.  Therefore, contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to (deleted the) Humane Society of Southeast Texas, P.O. Box 1629, Beaumont, Texas 77704 or www.petsforpeople.org.

Most of all, Mary will be remembered for her boisterous laugh and big hugs.
