Charles “Charlie” Ellis Golden, 60, of Kountze, died Monday, March 9, 2015.  He was born on December 21, 1954, in Sparta, Tennessee, to Imo Gene Dinson Golden and Billy “Buddy” Golden.

Survivors include his siblings, Kay Golden, Denny Golden, Joyce Dingman, Anna Golden, Judy Kelly, Barbara Golden, David Golden, Mike Golden, and Tracy Bartick; friends, Shawn and Bruce Elkins, Donnie Elkins, and Haylee and Devin Elkins, all of Kountze; Layne Elkins and Mackenzie Conner, both of Warren; and Khloe and Korbyn Elkins, both of Kountze; and numerous other relatives.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sally Golden; brother, Billy Golden; and sister, Debra Golden.

Mr. Golden’s graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2015, at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills, under the direction of Broussard’s, Kountze.
