Elizabeth Eugenia Matlock, 73, of Baytown, died Thursday, February 12, 2015. She was born on April 22, 1941, in Ray City, Georgia, to Inez Royal Grayson and Horace Grayson. 

Elizabeth is survived by her son, John Wilkins and his wife, Jamie, of Arvada, Colorado; daughter, Jena Garcia of Baytown; grandchildren, Jordyn Wilkins, Jillian Wilkins, Quentin Wilkins, Melanie Matthews, and Renea Webb; great-grandchildren, Tyler Matthews, Damion Treharn, and Joshua Matthews, and nieces, Kim Bailey and Karen Bailey.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Matlock; and brother, W. L. Bailey.

A gathering of Mrs. Matlock’s family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont.
