Dorothy Mae Morvant, 86, of Kountze, died Monday, February 9, 2015.  She was born on January 25, 1929, in Port Arthur, to Antonia Dumatrait Prince and Louis Prince.

Survivors include her children, Sandra Crowe and her husband, Jonathan, of Kountze; Keith Morvant and his wife, Pam, of Port Arthur; Lynell DeCuir and her husband, Tim, of Kountze; and Tammy Welch and her fiancé, Jim Glennie, of Lake Jackson; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and sister, Thelma Drouet of Beaumont. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lionel Edward Morvant; and two infant brothers.

Mrs. Morvant’s Memorial Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 243 South LHS Drive, Lumberton, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis Tennessee 38105.
