Emajoe “Jody” Pouncey, 87, of Beaumont, died Friday, February 6, 2015, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont.  She was born on July 22, 1927, in Picher, Oklahoma, to Addie Williams Grace and Carl Grace.

Mrs. Pouncey is survived by her daughters, Melinda Pouncey of Beaumont and Thressa Griffin of Wichita, Kansas; sons, Timothy Pouncey and his wife, Naomi, of Wichita, Kansas and James Michael Pouncey and his wife, Sandra, of Derby, Kansas; granddaughters, Ashley Boucher of Derby and Amanda Griffin of Houston; great-grandchildren, Kylee Boucher, Andrew Boucher and Kyra Boucher, all of Derby. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Alfred H. Pouncey.

Mrs. Pouncey’s memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
