Michael Ray Belaire, 70, of Vidor, died Friday, January 30, 2015, at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Houston. He was born on April 29, 1944, in Jefferson County, to Rose Marie Christ Belaire and Charles Ray Belaire. Michael was a United States Air Force veteran and retired as a Superintendent in the Petrochemical Industry.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Belaire; children, Robin Broussard of Beaumont, Kim Belaire of Vidor, and Tara Belaire of Hamshire; grandchildren, Kristin Huckaby, Justin Phillips, Aaron Touchet, Michael Brent Wells, Kayla Weekly, Nikki Wahl, Karlie Broussard, Kara Broussard, and Zoe Husley; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles “Bub” Belaire, Les Belaire, and Kent Belaire; sisters, Jennifer Harris and Kathie Griffen; and mother, Rose Marie Baumgarten.

His committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
