Chad Wayne Drake, 35, of Silsbee, died Monday, January 26, 2015.  He was born on June 6, 1979, in Beaumont, to Cassandra Musgrove Drake Whitsitt and Kenneth Wayne Drake. 

Survivors include his wife, Tina Drake; mother, Cassy Whitsitt and her husband, Billy, of Hemphill; sister, Shy Seaman and her husband, Jason, of Kountze; brother, Nick Drake of Hemphill; grandfather, Clyde L. Drake of Silsbee; uncle, Doug Musgrove and his wife, Angie, of Carthage; nieces, Ayiana, Alana, Molly, and Mylee; aunt, Billie Sanders and her husband, Louis, of Silsbee; step children, Kensie and Ethan Ard and Alina Warren.  He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Mary Lou and John Edd Musgrove and Dorothy Drake; and uncle, John Musgrove.

A gathering of Chad’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015, at Broussard’s with interment to follow at Tanton Cemetery, Silsbee.
