Thomas “Tom” Reginald Brown, Jr, 75, of Kountze, died Friday, January 23, 2015.  He was born on September 28, 1939, in Beaumont, to Daisy Pearl Pilgrim Brown and Thomas R. Brown, Sr.  Tom had worked as a pipefitter with Local 195.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Brown; children, Tommy Brown and his wife, Debby, of Cedar Park and Laura Lawrence and her husband, Kenneth, of Kountze; grandchildren, Jeremy Brown and his wife, Joanie, of Leander; Codi Richardson and her husband, Jason, of Kountze; Travis Brown of Navarre, Flordia; and Kelsey Swearingen and her husband, Chris, of Kountze; and great-grandchildren, Ashtyn Richardson, Corey Cox, Jr., Madi Richardson, Allison Brown, Kaitlinn Brown, Aubree, Brown, Kyleigh Swearingen, and Emma Brown.  He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Frances Whitmire.

Tom’s wishes were for no public services and the family is upholding his wishes.
