Jackie Bergdorf, 61, of Hamshire, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born on September 4, 1953, to Virginia Castille Bergeron and Cliff Bergeron.

Survivors include her daughters, Jana Ellison and her husband, Jason, of College Station and Jada Melancon and her husband, Judd, of Pearland; grandchildren, Jase, Jenna, Julianne, Jordyn, and Jillian; brothers, Dale Bergeron and his wife, Mary Jo; Junior Bergeron and his wife, Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by James Bergdorf, her loving husband of forty years; and her parents.

A gathering of Jackie’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.  A Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m., Saturday at Broussard’s.
