Roy Lee White, 90, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on September 21, 1924, to Laura Curry and Clifford White, in Cabin Creek, West Virginia. He was a United States Army veteran having served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. Roy retired from Unocal Refinery after working several years. He enjoyed working in his garden.  

Roy is survived by his wife of fifty years, Lois White; son, John White of Beaumont; daughter, Sharon Nesmith and her husband, Vince, of Hamshire; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters; Lori Kidd and Virginia Clark; and infant brothers, Edward and Harold White.

A gathering of Mr. White’s family and friend will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
