Bobbie Faye Surles Watson, 85, of Belton, formerly of Beaumont, died Friday, January 9, 2015. A native of Beaumont, she was born on October 1, 1929, to Elsie Iona Dalton and Robert Emmett Surles. Bobbie and her husband, Burnie, owned and operated a butane business and feed store in western Jefferson County for many years.

Survivors include her son, Burnie M. Watson III and his wife, Jane, of Ruston, Louisiana; daughter, Rosemary Randolph and her husband, Michael Lynn, of Belton; grandchildren, Melyni Revia and her husband, Michael; Megann Mims Wilson and her husband, Tim; Matthew Watson and his wife, Brandi; and Ammie Watson; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Burnie M. Watson, Jr.

A gathering of Mrs. Watson’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
