Jack Piazza, 91, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. A native of Port Arthur and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on October 26, 1923. Jack was a veteran of the United States Army, served our country in World War II, and received the Purple Heart.  Jack retired as a member of Pipefitters Local 195.

Survivors include his daughter, Glenda Piazza; grandchildren, Jennifer Oszczakiewicz- Frazier and her husband, Ryan; Jason Oszczakiewicz; and Stacie Oszczakiewicz; great-grandchildren, Isabela Mandujano and Elliana Rose Oszczakiewicz; sister-in-law, Mary Peden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Francis Graffinino Piazza; wife, Rose Latino Piazza; six brothers, Martin, Carlo, Anthony, Camille, Steve, and Joseph; and four sisters, Francis, Lena, Josie, and Lillie.

A gathering of Mr. Piazza’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
