Hieu Thi Le, 82, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Christus Hospital-St Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born in Vietnam on January 10, 1932. Hieu enjoyed playing bingo and the slot machines and liked to fish. She was a good and down to earth person who was caring, funny, and loving.  Some of her favorite times were the ones spent with her children.

Survivors include her sons, Men Truong, Ty Truong, Quang Truong, Sen Truong, Luy Truong, and Sui Truong; daughters, Huoi Truong and Sieu Huoi Truong; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hon Truong and one son, Hen Truong.

A gathering of Mrs. Le’s family and friends will be from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2015, and Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 5, 2015, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
