Thomas Edward Dinkins, 72, of Beaumont, died Monday, December 29, 2014, at Vidor Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born on January 10, 1942, to Shirley and Edward James Dinkins in Little Rock, Arkansas, and was a United States Army veteran.

Survivors include his sons, David Cisneros and his wife, Vicki, and Frank Edward Dinkins and his wife, Shana, both of Austin; and John Raymond Dinkins and his wife, Maggie and James Richard Dinkins, both of Houston; daughters, Cynthia Dinkins and her husband, Joel DeLeon and Mary Christina Ramos and her husband, Albert, both of Beaumont; grandchildren, Mandy Cisneros, Sonya Cisneros, Sara Cisneros, Adrian Cisneros, Alexis DeLeon, Yvette DeLeon, Jesus DeLeon, Andrew DeLeon, and Eva DeLeon; great-grandchildren, Rafael Mendoza, Madison Hernandez, Mila Hernandez, and Santos Hernandez; and sister, Betty Pate.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jimmy Dinkins.

A family graveside service was held at Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
