Patricia Rae Schwalenberg, 68, of Sour Lake, died Saturday, December 27, 2014.  She was born on November 8, 1946, in Liberty, to Maude Gatlin Tibbits and James A. Tibbits.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Schwalenberg; brother, John A. Tibbets and his wife, Frances, of Vidor; sister, Ann King and her husband, Milton, of San Antonio; aunt, Doris Gage of Orange; brothers-in-law, Dunn E. Schwalenberg of Mississippi and Davie L. Schwaldenberg of Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, James Edward Schwalenberg.

A gathering of Mrs. Schwalenberg’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake.
