Carol Ann Faulk Rhodes, 70, of Nome, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at Christus Hospital-St Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on January 23, 1944, to Anita Istre and Sidney Fremaux, in Jennings, Louisiana.

Survivors include her daughter, Alicia Soileau and her husband, Daniel, of Nome; sisters, Connie Lopez and her husband, Randall, of Jennings, Louisiana, and Charlotte Kennedy and her husband, Robert, of Crowley, Louisiana; grandchildren, Danielle Soileau, Dylan Soileau, Whitney Soileau, Jessica Soileau, Dustin Soileau, and Alexis Soileau; great-grandchildren, Hannah Corbell and Derek Roberson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Mrs. Rhodes' family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at China Cemetery in China.
