Edna Earl Hatcher, 82, of Kountze, died Monday, December 22, 2014, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Beaumont. She was born on July 12, 1932, in Nederland, to Emma Lou Clayton Langham and Earney Langham. Edna was a retired nurse and attended Pine Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, William Earl Gallier and his wife, Jeannie, of Sour Lake; grandchildren, Tiffnie Gallier of Nome; Billy Joe Gallier of Pine Ridge; Ashley Mackan and her husband, Brandon, of China; and Bryan Gallier of Sour Lake; great-grandchildren, Dakota McFarland and Corbin Mackan.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifton Hatcher; brothers, Stanley Langham, Shelton Langham, and Virgil Langham.

A gathering of Mrs. Hatcher’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 13430 FM 421 Road, Kountze, with her interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine Ridge.
