Michele "Mickey" Lee Sutton 
March 31, 1943 - December 17, 2014

Michele (Mickey) Lee Sutton, 71, of Beaumont, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. She was born on March 31, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to Loretta Ruth Watson and the late J.F. (Jack) Watson. Mickey loved Jesus, her family, friends, and church. She retired from All Saints Episcopal School with 31 years of serving as an educator.

 

She is survived by her husband, Grant Sutton of Beaumont; her daughter, Kim Browne and her husband, Trey, of Lumberton and her granddaughters, Paige and Anna Kate Browne; her daughter, Kari Anne Sutton of Sugar Land; her mother, Loretta Watson; her brother, Richard Watson and his wife, Susan, and her nieces, Ashleigh, Heather, and Kendall Watson and Jennifer Heasley of Dallas; and her niece, Michelle Girdler of Marseilles, Illinois.

 

One of Mickey’s favorite verses was Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

 

A gathering of Mickey’s friends and family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday December 20, 2014, at Broussard’s. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
