Lisa Marie Chalow 
September 30, 1957 - November 25, 2014

Lisa Marie Chalow, 57, of Beaumont, Texas, formerly of Vineland, New Jersey, passed away in her home on November 25, 2014. She was born on September 30, 1957, to Walter Chalow and Anne Suchanoff. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Lamar University and worked for Adult Protective Services.

 

She is survived by her daughters, Raegan Keller Hollier and her husband, Joel Hollier; Annie Buganski; and Sarah Buganski; son, Nicholas Buganski; granddaughter, Maren Hollier; lifelong companion, Ellis “Butch” Buganski; sisters, Carol Kosachuk and Diana Fleming; beloved friend, Vijai Golla; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Walter Guy Chalow.

 

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014, with her memorial services starting at 2:00 p.m. at Pecan Acres Baptist Church, 2000 Duncan Woods Lane, Vidor, Texas.

Lisa dedicated her life to serving others; always putting their needs before her own. She loved being a mother and was fiercely committed to and supportive of her family. She assisted and protected the elderly and disabled through her work with APS. She also worked as a CASA and Meals on Wheels volunteer.

 

Lisa was filled with passion and loved painting, going to estate and garage sales, gardening, cruising, and traveling with her family. Her favorite hobby was refurbishing her 1986 Uhaul “glamper”.

 

Lisa cherished her pets and considered them a part of her family. She was rarely seen without her rescue dogs, Stevie, Cane, Gwen, and Lucy.
