Bertha O. Craigen Leger, 90, of Beaumont, died Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born to Mary Ann Phelps and Roy William Craigen on August 6, 1924, in Fannett.

She is survived by her husband of seventy-three years, Randolph Ellis “T” Leger; daughters, Darlice Allemond and her husband, Henry, of China; Brenda Marcus, of Sour Lake; Glenda Thompson and her husband, Dean K., of Beaumont; son, Leroy Leger and his wife, Jeanette, of Vidor; sister, Eunice Sheets and her husband, Paul, of Henderson, Kentucky; grandchildren, Kayla Marcus and Scott Ferguson and his wife, Gay; Jeremy Thompson; great-grandchildren, Joshua Ferguson and Christine Ferguson.

Bertha is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roy, two sisters, May and Merle; one grandson, Alan Ferguson.

A Rosary for Mrs. Leger will be recited at 12:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow, Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
