Stephen “Steve” Ray LoBue, 53, of Fannett, died Friday, November 28, 2014. He was born on October 6, 1961, in Beaumont, to Betty Ruth Plattsmier and Joseph LoBue. Steve enjoyed working, watching football, and playing golf. He was a good guy and an honest hard worker.

Survivors include his sister, JoAnn Smalley of Fannett; brother, Rickey Wayne LoBue of Fannett; nieces, Angela Lee Smalley, Jana Mae LoBue, Jamie Diane Howard, Alyssa Lee Ann LoBue; several great-nieces and nephews; and best friend, Keely Craigen.

A gathering of Mr. LoBue’s family and friends will begin at 5:30 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2014, at the MCM Elegante Hotel, 2355 I10 South, Beaumont. His cremation was handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
