David Allen Nichols, 45, of Beaumont, died Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was born on July 4, 1969, in Evansville, Indiana, to Brenda Ashby Nichols and Harry David Nichols, and had been a longtime resident of the area.  David was a self-employed carpenter.

Other than his parents, David is survived by his brothers, Christopher Nichols and his wife, Lori, of Lexington, Kentucky and Thomas Andrew Nichols of Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Jillian Nichols and Jackson Nichols; aunt and uncle, Kathy and George Brown of Henderson, Kentucky; and uncle, Brian Adams of Louisville, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

A gathering of Mr. Nichols’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
