Barbara Lee Fulmer Kelson, 63, of Nederland, died Monday, November 10, 2014, at Beaumont Health Care Center, Beaumont. She was born on September 17, 1951, in Pasadena, to Freida Foster Fulmer and Lester L. Fulmer, and had been a longtime resident of the area.

Barbara is survived by her son, Travis Kelson of Nederland; mother, Freida Leola “Susie” Fulmer of Vidor; sister, Nancy Eberhardt and brother-in-love, Dennis, of Beaumont; brother, Steve Fulmer and sister-in-love, Pam, of Vidor; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her son, John Michael Kelson; daughter, Susan Michelle Kelson; and her father, Lester L. Fulmer.

A gathering of Ms. Kelson’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
