Larry Dean Graves
October 12, 1959 - November 4, 2014

“Amazing Grace, your chains are gone and you have been set free.”

Larry Dean Graves, 55, of Beaumont, went to be with his heavenly father, Tuesday, November 4, 2014.

He was a devoted Christian. Larry loved and lived for his heavenly father, daily he would worship, praise, and glorify God to the fullest. Larry knew no strangers and was always the first person to step up and help anyone in any way he could. He was a master electrician by trade. After Hurricane Ike, he spent many devoted hours to help families with repairs so they would be able to obtain electricity.

Larry is survived by his wife, Slena; his mother and rock in his life, Jeanette; and his brother, Richard. He is also survived by their devoted sons and families; he was so proud of James LeBlanc and his wife, Lindsey and Staff Sergeant Thomas LeBlanc and his wife, Vanessa; precious grandchildren, Jordan LeBlanc, Dylon, Tyler, and Austin LeBlanc, Aubree Adair, Jonathan Love, and Kammaron LeBlanc; and many other loving family members.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Dean Graves, whom he learned so much from.

Larry had two favorite “companions”, Buster and Boudreaux, who were always there to comfort him through any and every endurance with a little doggie bone under his pillow.

A gathering of Mr. Graves’ family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2014, at North End Baptist Church, 5115 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
