Harley Davidson Rush 
June 19, 1951 - November 3, 2014

Harley Davidson Rush, 63, of Crystal Beach, died Monday, November 3, 2014, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, he was born to Ouieda Bernice Craig and Cecil Farris Rush, on June 19, 1951. Harley was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He served as a Beaumont policeman for ten years. Harley studied at Galveston College to become a medic and served as a volunteer with Crystal Beach Fire and Rescue EMS. He traveled to Sabinas, Mexico, to teach the locals basic medical care. Harley is currently employed as Global Training Safety Manager for Chicago Bridge and Iron.

 

Survivors include his son, Elijah Montgomery Rush; sister, Laura Rush Monday and her husband, Gary; brother, Scott Rush and his wife, Cathy; stepmother, Maggie Rush; numerous nieces, nephews; and numerous grand-nieces and nephews.

 

A gathering of Mr. Rush’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2014, at Broussard’s. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
