Thomas “Tom” O’Grady, 80, of Beaumont, died Friday, October 31, 2014. He was born on August 23, 1934, to Kathryn Olsen and William O’Grady, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Tom was a retired salesman and avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Shirley Ann O’Grady; daughter, Suzanne Schwarz and her husband, Charlie, of Wichita, Kansas; sons, Michael O’Grady and his wife, Carol, of Pearland; Mark O’Grady and his wife, Pamela, of Hamshire; and Steve O’Grady and his wife, Judy, of Liberty City; and daughter, Kelly Chesnut and her husband, Willie, of Kingwood; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A Rosary for Mr. O’Grady will be recited at 2:30 p.m., with his memorial mass to follow at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 6, 2014, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
