Mary Jane Walker, 81, of Beaumont, died Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was born on April 11, 1933, to Zula Stockstill Seal and Vardiman Seal, in Picayune, Mississippi. She retired as a medical transcriptionist for Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.

Survivors include her sister, Sharla Murphy; sons, Glynn Walker and his wife, Melinda, of Port Neches and Layne Walker and his wife, Cynthia, of Bevil Oaks; grandchildren, Reagan Williams, Rachael Walker, Ky Walker, Courtney Walker, Layne Walker, Jr., and Kyle Walker; one great-grandchild, Riley Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A gathering of Ms. Walker’s family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
