Corbit L. Jones, Jr., 78, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare in Silsbee. He was born on April 5, 1936, in Bronson, to Claudia Mae Webster Jones and Corbit L. Jones. Mr. Jones was a United States Army veteran and retired as a foreman with Brown and Root.
Survivors include his wife, Neta Faye Jones; sisters, Bobbie Y’Barbo and her husband, Richard, of Silsbee and Betty Granger of Beaumont; brother-in-law, Billy Jeffcoat of Spurger; sister-in-law, Mary Harrison of Buda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Claudia Jeffcoat; sister, Evelyn Hoffman; and brother-in-law, W.A. Harrison.
