Bonnie Prejean DuBose, 84, of Beaumont, died Sunday, October 5, 2014, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on December 16, 1929, to Ora Julie Henry and Carroll Joseph Prejean in Opelousas, Louisiana. Bonnie retired as a registered nurse and was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette in Kirbyville.

Survivors include her daughters, Yvette Marsh and Jonnie Naizer and her husband, Kenneth, all of Beaumont; Jackie Benoit of Groves; and Gigi DuBose and Jené DuBose, both of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jack Marsh, Mike Marsh, Danielle Schell, Lindsey Stephens, Lorrie Naizer, Eric St. John, Brandi Benoit Suire, Jesica Crorey, Leah Broussard, Trey DuBose, Abby, Venus, Jasmine, Sophia, Izabella, and Rogue; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Wanda Martello of Metairie, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William J. DuBose; son, William DuBose, Jr.; and one sister, June Pastorick.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
