Ann Granger 
June 13, 1926 - October 5, 2014

Ann Granger, 88, of China, died Sunday, October 5, 2014. She was born on June 13, 1926, to Mary Catherine Baer and Joseph Braden Miller, Sr. in Beaumont. Ann enjoyed sewing, crafting, and gardening. She also enjoyed cooking especially chocolate cake and peanut butter balls. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who spent most of her life caring for the ones she loved most, her family.

 

Survivors include her children, Julie Ann Copeland of China; Joyce Lynn Ewing and her husband, Nicholas, of Kingwood; Benita Sebesta and her husband, Joe, of Rosenberg; and Peggy Lee Granger of China; grandchildren, Melody Bradley and her husband, Jimmy; Leslie Tipp and her husband, Eric; Emily Darnell and her husband, Brett; Kelly Danford and her husband, Drew; and Hayley Sebesta and her close friend, Cameron Macha; great-grandchildren, Salena Harris and her husband, Craig, Hannah Taylor, Braden Taylor, Campbell Tipp, Caroline Tipp, Finn Darnell, and Ford Darnell; and great-great-grandchild, Noah Harris.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ben F. Granger ; parents; five brothers; and son-in-law, Larry Copeland.

 

 

A gathering of Mrs. Granger’s family and friends will begin at 1:30 p.m. with her funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at China Cemetery in China.
