Dannie Faye Huggins Moss, 66, of Kountze, died Thursday, October 2, 2014.   A native and lifelong resident of Kountze, she was born on October 29, 1947, to Dona Stutts Huggins and John Travis Huggins.  Dannie was a retired clerk in the retail industry and a longtime member of Kountze Church of Christ. 

Survivors include her daughter, Shawn Cassel Gunter and her husband, Paul, of Lumberton; sister, Barbara Johnson and her husband, Fred, of Kountze; brother, Charles Huggins and his wife, Linda, of Kountze; grandchildren, Kami Gunter Hilger, Logan Gunter,  and Collin Gunter and his wife, Jessica, all of Lumberton; great-grandchildren, Lance Hilger, Mia Gunter, and Bentley McRoberts; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews that she loved dearly. 

A gathering of Mrs. Moss’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 6, 2014, at Kountze Church of Christ, 1035 North Pine Street, Kountze, with interment to follow at Holland Cemetery, Kountze.
