Chelsye Dawn Slaydon Moss, 40, of Silsbee, died Monday, September 22, 2014.  She was born on April 16, 1974, in Silsbee, to Beverly Decuir Slaydon and Billy Slaydon, Jr. 

Survivors include her husband, Shane of Evadale; son, Elija Rayne Moss of Silsbee; daughter, Grace Elizabeth Moss of Evadale; mother, Beverly Slaydon of Silsbee; father, Billy Slaydon and his wife, Lea, of Silsbee; brothers, Trey Slaydon and his wife, Amanda, of San Augustine and Chris Slaydon and his wife, Rhonda, of Silsbee; and several other family members.

A gathering of Chelsye’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2014, at Broussard’s with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Silsbee.
