Clara Eunice Stutsman, 95, of Kountze, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014.  She was born on November 24, 1918, in Gravelly, Arkansas, to Emily Ann May Smallwood and Sam Smallwood. Eunice started S.C.A.T. (Senior Citizens All Together), which was her life.  She enjoyed cooking, jelly making, and baking cakes, but mostly doing for everyone else.

Survivors include her brother, Otis Smallwood of Dumas, Arkansas; and special nieces and nephews, Violet Brown and her husband, Roy Gene; David Smallwood and his wife, Missy; Leighann Lawrence and her husband, Eric; and Beverly Williamson, all of Kountze; and Betty and her husband, Bill Perdue, of Iowa, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents; fifteen brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Mrs. Stutsman’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 26, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Daniels Cemetery, Kountze.
