Kendel Lamb, 29, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth-Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on March 14, 1985, to Karen Lynne Wilson. Kendel enjoyed good times with friends and family, mudding, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He worked as a doodlebugger and diesel mechanic for many years and was an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Lamb; mother, Karen Lamb Measel of Beaumont; sisters, Tiana Gorsich and her husband, David, of Beaumont and Kaleena Lamb-Sachs and her husband, Shawn, of Port Arthur; brother, Preston Lamb and his wife. Jodi, of Beaumont; many special nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A gathering of Mr. Lamb’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Broussard’s. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium in Beaumont.
