Floyd McCraw 
September 1, 1926 - September 7, 2014

Floyd McCraw, 88, of Beaumont, died Sunday, September 7, 2014, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. He was born on September 1, 1926, to Bernice Modlin McCraw and John Robert McCraw in Merryville, Louisiana. He was a United States Navy veteran having served in World War II and the Korean War. Floyd worked at Southwestern Bell for thirty-four years and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as a great husband and very good father.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva McCraw; son, Larry McCraw and his wife, Cathy, of McKinney; grandchildren, Brian T. McCraw and his wife, Katie, of El Paso; Patrick T. McCraw and his wife, Lauren, of Plano; and Chad R. McCraw of McKinney; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth McCraw and Scarlet McCraw; and sister, Bobby Kersh of Pearl, Mississippi.

A gathering of Mr. McCraw’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive. His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Cooper Cemetery in Merryville, Louisiana.
