Brett Lee Myers, 20, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, September 3, 2014.  He was born on November 4, 1993, in Beaumont, to Stacy Stanton Myers and Eldon Lee Myers, Jr.  Brett was a 2012 graduate of Evadale High School and worked as a welder at STI in Buna.

Survivors include his mother, Stacy Lynn Stanton of Silsbee; father, Eldon Lee Myers, Jr. of Silsbee; son, Ryder Lee Myers, of Silsbee; fiancée, Maranda Horton of Silsbee grandparents, Shebra and Kenneth Ewings of Silsbee; Eldon Lee Myers, Sr., of Winnie; Debbie Bruce Willis of Evadale; and Tracy Stanton of Evadale; great-grandparents, Dorothy Stanton of Evadale; and Ruthie Clubb and Luthy Myers, both of Winnie; sisters, Megan Kennedy Myers and Ashton Tracy Myers, both of Silsbee; nephew, Paxton Jace Myers of Silsbee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A gathering of Brett’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 7, 2014, at Broussard’s with interment to follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
