Randy Alan Caruthers, 63, of Hamshire, died Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. A lifelong resident of the area, he was born on November 7, 1950, in Beaumont, to Maureen W. Heckman and Mason Ray Caruthers.

Survivors include his sons, Randy Alan Caruthers II. and his wife, Kelli and Jason Ray Caruthers and his wife, Krista, and their mother, Cheryl Caruthers; grandchildren, Amberlyn Caruthers, Madison Caruthers, Randy Alan Caruthers III, Heaven Lee-Ray Caruthers, Lyric Caruthers, and Hannah Lasalle; friend and partner, Debbie Welch and her daughter, Tracey Welch and her husband, Bryan; sisters, Donna Craigen and her husband, J.W. and Phyllis German.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Connie Jetsel Martel.

A funeral service for Mr. Caruthers will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium.
