Kenneth E. Hall, Jr., 66, of Bacliff, formerly of Beaumont, died Monday, July 14, 2014, at Methodist Hospital Medical Center, Houston. Ken was born on March 23, 1948, in Beaumont, to Bettye Setliff Hall and Kenneth E. Hall, Sr. He attended Beaumont schools graduating from Beaumont High School in 1967. Ken earned his associates degree at Houston Community College.

He was a United States Air Force veteran. Ken retired from University of Texas Medical Branch as a respiratory therapist. He lived many years at Crystal Beach until his home was destroyed by Hurricane Ike. Ken then moved to Bacliff where he worked for Cornerstone Hospital. He loved fishing and gardening. Ken also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and helping others whenever he could.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon Hanzelka of LaGrange; nephew, Hutchins Butler and his wife, Altantsooj “Aagii” of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; great-nephew, Tully Erdene Butler; brother, Don Hall and his wife, Cindy, of Beaumont; nieces, Katy Hall and her fiancé, Brad Wyly and  Amy Hall, all of Houston.

A gathering of Mr. Hall’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Burial of Mr. Hall’s cremated body will be at a later date.
