Billy Shannon Huffhines, 80, of Beaumont, died Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was born on December 31, 1933, to Ida Fay Center Huffhines and Marvin Guion Huffhines, in Dallas. Billy, known to all as Bill, was a proud Texas Aggie graduate and worked as an architect in partnership as Gordy and Huffhines Architects Inc.

Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Barbara Huffhines; daughter, Cindy Huffhines Moses of Houston; sister, Patricia Lee McIntyre of South Haven, Mississippi; grandchild, Tristan “Mouse” Amanda Moses of Houston; numerous nieces and nephews, and many beloved friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Mr. Huffhines’ family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m. with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014, at First Christian Church, 5290 North Caldwood, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s in Beaumont.
