Lula Grace Jett, 94, of Beaumont, died Friday, June 13, 2014, at Kountze Nursing Center.  Born November 3, 1919, in Cleveland, Texas, Lula was the daughter of Iva Grace Parsley and Virgil Parsley.

She is survived by her children, James Jett and his wife, Linda, of Houston and Jerry Jett of New Waverly; daughter-in-law, Peggy Jett of Beaumont and sister, Eloise Johnson of Nederland;  grandchildren, Michael Jett, Barbara Jett, Kenneth Jett and his wife, Jennie, William “Billy” Jett and his wife, Letty, and Janice Jett Fisher and her husband, James; six great-grandchildren;.  Lula was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther Henry Jett; and son, John Jett.

A gathering of Mrs. Jett’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday evening, June 16, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A family committal will be held at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, at a later date.  Serving as pallbearers will be James Jett, Linda, Jett, William Jett, Letty Jett, Johnathon Jett, Jerry Jett and honorary pallbearer, Adolf Saenz.
