Louisa Mae “Dee Dee” Jones, 82, of Vidor, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014. She was born on April 6, 1932, to Clara Bessie Foux and Julian Jagneaux, in China. Louisa retired from Wood’s Supermarket.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Jones; sons, Norman Douglas Oldbury and Rick Hamberlin of Beaumont and Mark Julian Oldbury and his wife, Judy, of Mauriceville; daughters, Cloy Jean Ward and her husband, Lavelle, of Cypress and Marsha LaDean Taylor and her husband, Kirby, of Vidor; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and two step-sons, Bobby Jones and his wife, Holly and Jimmy Jones and his wife, Lucy, both of Vidor.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Mark Julian Oldbury, Jr.; two sisters; and one brother.

A gathering of Mrs. Jones’ family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2014, at China Cemetery, Benoit Avenue, in China.
