Patsy Lou Heckard, 70, of Silsbee, died Sunday, June 1, 2014.  She was born on November 6, 1943, in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Survivors include her children, Cindy Landry and her husband, Tommy, of Hillister and Michael Lee Heckard of Spurger; grandchildren, Cody Thomas Landry and his wife, Brooke, of Olive Branch, Mississippi; Courtney Dannielle Landry Johnson and her husband, Timothy, of Austin; Abbie Heckard; and Michael “Mr.” Heckard; great-grandchildren, Eli Landry; Ethan Landry; and Waylon Heckard; and sister, Janice Reyes and her husband, Jake, of Elk City, Oklahoma.  She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Heckard’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Freedom Fellowship, 8137 FM 418, Silsbee, with interment to follow at Morse Cemetery, Buna.
