Margaret Erickson Bean, 92, of Austin, died Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Cottonwood Creek Nursing Home, Cedar Park.  She was born on September 29, 1921, in Beaumont, to Clara Erler Erickson and Einar Erickson.

Mrs. Bean is survived by her daughter, Mary Headley and her husband, Matthew, of Austin; brothers, Walter Erickson of Beaumont and Charles Erickson and his wife, Dale, of Carrollton; grandchildren, Ryan Headley and his wife, Becky, and Steven Headley and his fiance’, Kelly Costello; and great-grandchild, Hannah Marie Headley, all of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee R. Bean; and brothers, Doyle Erickson, Daniel Erickson and Edwin Erickson.

A gathering of Mrs. Bean’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2014, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at St. John Lutheran Church, 2955 South Major Drive, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
