Eric Anthony Clark, 24, of Port Bolivar, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He was born on September 18, 1989, in Galveston, to Johnnie Stroud and Chris Clark. Eric was a commercial fisherman, who loved to hunt. He had a big heart and was a friend to everyone he met.

Survivors include his father, Chris Clark and his wife, Wendi Clark; mother, Johnnie Stroud and her husband, Jimmy Stroud; brothers, Steven Clark and his wife, Felicia; and D. J. Arceneaux; sister, Sophie Clark; son, Chance Matthew Clark; grandfather, Laurence Clark, Jr.; grandmothers, Elmyra Clark and Delores Conway; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A gathering of Mr. Clark’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Port Bolivar Cemetery, Port Bolivar.
