Birdie Nell Yarbrough, 65, of Nome, died Monday, May 26, 2014.  She was born on July 15, 1948, in Sour Lake, to Oletha Ellen Dennison Lee and G. Hobert Lee, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. 

Survivors include her husband, Neal Yarbrough; children, Sonya Reviere and her husband, John and Amie Hayes, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Morgan Reviere, Kamryn Reviere, Taylor Martinez, Andrew Martinez, and Marlie Martinez; sister, Patricia Young and her husband, Bill, of Colmesneil; and special friends, Brenda and Aubrey Ward and family and Lesa Marshall.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Yarbrough’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Sour Lake.
